Devon Priem has been a part of the Dragonfly team since 2010. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work at Portland State University and her Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Utah.
Devon has worked with adolescents and young adults as a therapist, substance abuse counselor, mentor and field guide for over fifteen years. She has worked as a primary therapist at Dragonfly Transitions for seven years and cofounded the International Service trip to Cambodia and is an avid explorer.
Devon acquired specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Brain-spotting, Social Thinking, Motivational Interviewing, Clinical Supervision and working with individuals in the LGBTQIA community. Devon enjoys spending time with students both in the therapy office, on trips and in the milieu. Her ability to build collaborative and authentic relationships with Dragonfly students and families enables her to help them work toward their therapeutic goals.
As a Clinical Supervisor, Devon works in close collaboration with the Clinical Director to provide additional training and leadership for the clinical team. Her experience as a crisis manager and clinical problem solver allows her to provide effective consultation and quality assurance throughout the program.
In her free time, Devon enjoys gardening, snowboarding, and playing in the woods with her family and friends.
