Position: Mentor

Josh was born and raised in Klamath Falls, Oregon. After graduating high school and working for 2 years Josh decided to join the Army National Guard. After returning home he started pursuing a degree in John Deere Ag Technology from Walla Wala Community College.

After graduating Josh returned home to be a Field Service Technician for a local family-owned and operated farm. Josh is now obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Nonprofit Leadership pursuing his goal of eventually becoming an Executive Director of a residential program.

As a Farm and Mental Health Mentor at Embark at Dragonfly, Josh has the opportunity to use his experience on farms and service tech experience as a foundation in the trenches as a mentor with students to build both student and my leadership and clinical skillsets. Josh’s purpose and want to help the greater community of the world has grown and evolved from serving overseas to integrating that purpose into the pursuit of evolving mental health treatment within a residential setting.

“To see students evolve through persistence and dedication is the most gratifying experience I have ever found in my life.”
