Rae has been with Dragonfly for four years as our Homestead Program Coordinator and Farm Manager. Rae comes to us with a diverse background that includes working in mental health, community organization, and farming.
Before moving to Oregon, Rae spent most of her life in Michigan and is a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.A in Psychology.
To her delight Rae has spent almost 10 years working with plants and young adults. She is passionate about finding ways to get people involved in their food system and believes in the grounding that comes from working with your hands, day to day throughout the seasons.
Her experience both personally and professionally has allowed her to see the therapeutic value of growing food in community, and experiencing mentorship. She is grateful that Dragonfly provides a space to bring those things together.
Rae and her husband have two very cute dogs as their sidekicks and they appreciate all of the adventure and beauty Oregon has to offer.
