Originally from Nashville, TN, Olivia earned her BA from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and completed her Masters degree in Outdoor Education from the University of Edinburgh. Olivia brings extensive experience working with young people – including students with disabilities and social, emotional, and behavioral disorders. She also has experience working at summer camps, after school programs, as a nanny, and guiding trips both internationally and domestically. Additionally, Olivia has been a certified wilderness first responder since 2011.
As the Academic Coordinator at Dragonfly, Olivia is responsible for completing academic assessments for new students, assisting students in registering for classes, communicating with professors about student’s progress, and connecting students with disability services and activities around campus.
Olivia also assists with vocation options, where she is responsible for connecting students with jobs and internships, getting them to local organizations that Dragonfly collaborates with to complete their resumes and work with a job coach. She also helps with following up with student internships to see how they’re doing and provide feedback from them.
In her spare time, Olivia loves to rock climb, hike, bake, read, and ride her bike. She is thrilled to be living on the west coast and is always happy to seek adventures and discover new places.
