Last weekend a group of 9 students and three staff headed south for an action packed weekend in San Francisco.
We attended a Giants vs. Cubs ball game at AT&T Park Friday night, where unfortunately the home team lost in the 9th inning. Before the game, we were able to make a quick pit stop in Haight Ashbury to go to Amoeba Records. Saturday morning the group woke up early and headed to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for some rollercoaster action! Students had a blast going on rides with titles such as Medusa, Superman, and Velocity. We ended the day with a lovely water ride where staff got more soaked than the students. Overall it was a successful trip and a definite break for our students who can sometimes miss the action of a big city.
