Tony

Position: Night Mentor (Ashland)

Tony is an artist, musician, and also does some farming. He started his career in caregiving in 2019 at Skylark Eldercare facility and work there for a year. He attended RCC for a semester in 2020 and studied sociology right before the Covid pandemic happened. He went back to RCC in 2022 and received his certification as a Peer Support Specialist with the state of Oregon.

Tony has been working at Dragonfly Transitions since August of 2021 as an overnight Mentor. He is also currently participating in the Regenerative Farming Fellowship which is a Rouge Farm Corps apprenticeship thorough the Family Nurturing Center.

Tony has been involved in trainings called Communal Consultations with trauma specialist Resmaa Meneken for the past couple of years and has studied the effects of racialized trauma.
