Kenzie was born in Springfield Eugene but raised in Klamath Falls Oregon. She is currently a senior at Oregon Tech and will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a 3.75 GPA. She has been able to pay for college in full by consistently working two jobs. Kenzie plans on continuing her education by getting a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling but wants to take a year off after school. She fell in love with this aspect of counseling because it takes on more of a collaborative approach and helps guide clients into being their authentic selves.

Kenzie is grateful for this opportunity at Dragonfly because she is able to apply the skills she has learned in school to this new career. She wants to be a good role model for the students by helping them find their strengths and apply those strengths to their lives. She believes everyone has a unique story that we do not understand and it’s important to be kind to those around you because you never know what is going on behind closed doors. She has a bible verse that I live by which is “Let all you do be done in love”.

During her free time, Kenzie likes to spend time with her dad outdoors and they like to go fishing, hiking, and hunting. Her dad is her best friend and someone she can always turn to in time of need. She also has a hobby of wood burning and plans on making a business with it. She also enjoys listening to old music. The Eagles are her favorite band and she likes to play the ukulele, piano, volleyball, and tennis. Kenzie loves finding new things to do.
