Position: Lead Mentor

Originally from Minnesota, Hannah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Youth Development and Urban Studies at North Central University in Minneapolis.  After graduating, she moved to San Diego and spent all her free time surfing, hiking, and exploring the natural beauty of southern California. Between Minneapolis and San Diego, Hannah has mentored children, teens, and young adults through surfing, tutoring, and developing life skills.

For Hannah, Dragonfly felt like the perfect fit, incorporating all her passions into the program- nature, service, community, healing, and empathy. Hannah is a core member of the Homestead team and takes ownership over the success and healing that result from the team’s efforts. She loves seeing Homestead students grow in confidence and find healing in the program.

When she isn’t at work, Hannah enjoys hiking, camping, surfing (or really anything outdoors!), and connecting with friends. Hannah also volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate and passionately advocates for trauma-informed justice and mental health services to families in the justice system.
