While spring break is a welcome reprieve from school and the responsibilities that come along with it, and a much looked forward to time of year for most college students, for some it leads to poor decision making or regression into old patterns. Dragonfly's programming follows the Oregon academic calendar. Your young adult may be enrolling in classes (OIT, KCC, SOU, RCC), starting a new internship, or developing their personalized Dragonfly group schedule. Spring is a great time to put down some new roots and see how far we can grow!

The process of change and healing occur when the entire family system engages in the journey. Dragonfly family workshops provide an opportunity for face-to-face interaction and for families to gain a greater depth of understanding of their child, Dragonfly, and the therapeutic process.  Family Workshop starts on Thursday at 8:30 am and finishes on Friday before dinner. Journeying to Bend, Oregon and the surrounding area, Dragonfly students will camp, explore world famous Smith Rock State Park, hike the surrounding forests and see what the city has to offer. There will be four groups total and all students will participate in this trip, which will be led by experienced Dragonfly staff. 

Dragonfly's programming follows the Oregon academic calendar. Your young adult may be enrolling in classes (OIT, KCC, SOU, RCC), starting a new internship, or developing their personalized Dragonfly group schedule. Summer term is a bit shorter than the standard term, giving students the opportunity to practice taking a condensed class with support, try out a class of interest, or use the summer term to gain experience working in our cafe!

Dragonfly Students have the opportunity to choose a weekend adventure trip in July! Each trip will focus on a different outdoor adventure experience (past trip have included: rafting, climbing, surfing, mountain biking). One of these weekend trips is included in tuition.  Students can elect to participate in multiple July weekend trips for an additional fee.
