Tuition And Fees
Dragonfly TRANSITIONS
The monthly tuition is $6,250 plus living expenses (typically $600-$1200 per month) for an average monthly cost between $6,850 and $7,450. Recreational trips are not included in tuition and may cost between $100-$400 per trip. There is usually an average of one trip per month.
Financial sponsors are responsible for paying all of the student's living expenses, including long distance phone card, clothing, gym fees, drug tests, school fees, food and select weekend activities. As the student progresses through the program, obtains employment and begins earning an income, the student will begin to assume responsibility for his or her own expenses. The financial sponsor is responsible for all mental health and medical fees incurred. Individual therapy is included in the monthly tuition. Dragonfly Transitions does not bill insurance companies directly, but can provide cost breakdowns for financial sponsors to submit to their insurance. If approved by insurance these reimbursable costs normally average about $1,100 per month. Dr. Melnick provides medication management and additional therapy. Her fee is not included in the Dragonfly monthly tuition and she can bill insurance directly.
At the time of the student's enrollment, financial sponsors are required to pay first and last month's tuition plus a $2,500 deposit to establish the student's living expense account. There is also a registration and orientation fee of $1,250. Financial sponsors receive a detailed accounting of living expenses paid each month.
If the resident withdraws early or is asked to leave the program due to behavioral issues or failure to follow program guidelines, the prepaid last-month tuition is non-refundable.
